Blog #8

   Blog #8 This week we didnt do much. One of our partner, Victor, is not in our group anymore. Now it is just my partner Jonathan and I. We are working on putting the pictures up on Thinglink. We are continuing to take pictures and editing them. We will start making our powerpoint and figure out how we are going to do it. Now that we are two again, we will have to change they way we are going to do things. We will chose the who will read each slide or what type of format we are going to use. This week we will edit pictures and put them on thinglink. We will work this week and probably over the weekend. We havent really done much in these couple of weeks but we will start keeping up with our project. We will catch up and continue with our project.

This week my partners and I have been a little busy lately. We took the CAHSEE last week and we didn't post up a blog, because we were studying and we didn't have time. We are still taking pictures just in case. Our teacher has not told us anything about using the bar-codes so people can scan them and they get a picture and information on their phone. We hope our principle can let us do what Mr. Lee suggested. We have some pictures edited already. We hope we can start putting them on thinglink. We know we've been trying to put them up on thinglink and we still have nothing up, but we still haven't figured out how we're going to put them, what type of information we are going to put them , but we will have the pictures up soon. We are excited for how our project will turn out and see our progress during the year.

  This week for our 20 percent project we are starting to wrap things up. Our English teacher gave us a big idea! He said we should put a picture on thinglink.com and we should use barcodes and put a paper with them everywhere we took a picture. So if we have visitors at our school then can just scan the code with their phone and it will take them to our website on their phone and they will get information on the picture. It will give them the information that we put. For example if it's an English class it'll say who's room is that (the name of the teacher) it'll have more information about the class it'll have the names of the teachers that are around that classroom and other useful information. We thought it was a good idea so we agreed. He will be talking to our principle so if we have visitors or any important people on campus they can use our website for useful information I am very excited to see how our project will turn out.

  This week for our 20 percent project we continued to take pictures. We haven't been able to make the website where we will be putting up our pictures, but we will be putting them up very soon. Our project is almost over so we will start wrapping things up. We are happy on how many pictures we took. We took some pretty amazing pictures. We are doing this to help people that have never been to our school. This year there were many new students. It would be cool if we had our own folder or a page that is related to our school website, so when people would go to our school website they can click a folder or a file where they can see our pictures and see where and how to get to their classes. For now we will continue with our project and talk to our teacher about our idea and see if we can try to make a website or something like that.

This week for our 20 percent project we will stop taking pictures for about a week. My phone is not working so i will not be able to take pictures. My partners will be taking a break from taking pictures. We are almost done with our project and we are starting to put everything together. We will decide who will do the editing or who will help on the power point. We will gather all the pictures and start putting them on the website. We will try to put a link on one of our blogs so everyone can see the pictures online. We wont put all the pictures we've taken, but we will put some of them up. We will try to have some of them up by next week or two.

This week my partners and I continued to take more pictures of our school. We will keep taking pictures until we have at least two pictures of almost the whole school. We are staying after school to take more pictures. We havent figured out how to upload them on the website but we will be figuring that out soon, probably in a week or two. Then, we will start figuring out how to do our power point. Like what font we will use, what kind of backround music, how we are going to arrange the pictures on the power point and things like what we are going to start writing on the pictures and if we are all going to explain them or who is going to say what. We will first take a lot of pictures then we will start choosing the ones we want to use for the power point.

For our 20% project we have a new partner his name is Victor. Victor will help us take pictures around the school so we can help people who are new to our school. We will continue to keep on taking pictures of our school. We havent been taking pictures because of school work, but we will take more pictures and our new partner Victor will help us. We want to try to take pictures inside of some classes or either take a picture of a classroom from each subject.( i.e. one picture of a classroom from english and one from math etc.) We will try to ask some teachers if we can take pictures of their classrooms if not then we will just take pictures from the outside.
